So, I was talking about bridal makeup yesterday and the cost associated with getting glammed up for your special moment. I personally think that sometimes makeup artist can be ridiculous with their prices.
Not all of them, but lately, the ones I have been speaking to, all seem to get bright-eyed once I say that I am getting married. I'm not one to stop anyone's paychecks, nor do I try to tell someone about their worth. On the contrary, I always say to people that they should know their worth.
But, when someone is excessive in their prices unnecessarily so, I must speak up. Makeup artists, I want you to do your magic on those brides, and make them look more stunning than they naturally are but, you don't have to put undue stress on the brides due to your ridiculous prices. Not all of you, but those of you who know what I'm talking about.
If you find yourself in a bind and can't spend those extra funds, Mum, Aunty, Cousin, and/or Friend, will suffice. I've watched those IG posts and videos where people who play with makeup as a hobby, give tutorials on makeup application. Let me tell you, the faces of the models look stunningly beautiful.
Grab one of those family members to help out. If they can't do it, one of your friends, especially those in the bridal party, will do just fine.
